He donated 2000 dollars to help in jump-starting the campaign that benefits children and young adults with cleft lips, cleft palates, or other facial deformations.
The aid that comes from Operation Smile helps children around the world, especially those from countries that do not have adequate medical amenities. To fulfill its mission, Operation Smile works with medical professionals from different localities, governments, and other private institutions. The organization collaborates with local medical personnel to provide health care in the patient’s language and customs.
Operation Smile began in 1982 and currently operates in more than 80 nations across the globe. It was established to help needy children in the Philippines. To date, the organization has conducted over 220,000 surgical operations on people with oral deformities such as the cleft lips. Operations smile recruits and trains health care providers in different fields to facilitate its activities.
