Daniel Taub and his Tenure as Ambassador

The peak of career for Mr. Daniel Taub came when he was made Israeli’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom. He had proven himself time and again and his negotiation skills, conflict approach, and diplomacy in the past. Mr. Daniel Taub showed his skills and good judgment during his tenure as Ambassador as well.

Mr. Daniel Taub was selected form the job in 2011 and stepped away from it in 2015. His tenure was memorable both the United Kingdom and to Israel as it helped along the relations between the two countries significantly and improved upon various aspects and fields of their affairs.

Israeli businesses started opening their offices in the United Kingdom, prompted by the dramatic increase of trade exchange between the nations. That also brought many Israeli people to live and study in the United Kingdom where they started growing companies and raising their families.

On the topic of Israeli studying in the United Kingdom, the student exchange between the two nations also experienced an increase. All of this is not to say that there had never been any commotions based on racial differences. During his tenure, the Israeli Ambassador had to handle the racial prejudice of one of the district officials. George Galloway had had a long history of speaking against Israel and its people based on race and religion.

George Galloway had announced that the town of Stanford would be a zone free of anything related to Israel including its trade, production, and its people. That sent some outrage across the United Kingdom, but Mr. Daniel Taub believed that the story was different.

Mr. Daniel Taub later visited the city of Stanford. He had received an invitation from several of the local institutions including the local museum of arts and culture and the church.

In an interview later, Mr. Daniel tub talked about how welcoming and opened the people of the city actually were. He also added that he believes that no single person can speak for a crowd without the authorization of the people.

The approach of Mr. Daniel Taub had helped him many times during his work as a peace negotiator which proved useful in his tenure as Ambassador as well.
