Alexandre Gama has been one of Brazil’s most brilliant creative minds over the past 40 years. He is highly regarded as one of the most decorated copywriters and advertising executives of his time. He has risen through the ranks as a copywriter for Standard Ogilvy & Mather to become the owner of one of the top Brazilian advertising agencies.
Gama graduated with a degree in Communications and Advertising in 1981 from the esteemed Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation. After nearly 20 years of working as a copywriter, creative director, and executive at a number of agencies, Gama opened up shop for himself in 1999 when he founded Neogama.
Neogama is one of Brazil’s top agencies and it has won many industry awards and recognitions over the past 20 years. Gama recently announced that the company would focus less on worldwide campaigns and more on Brazilian campaigns moving forward. Given Gama’s track record it seems to be the right move.
